Nearly a decade ago, we left our office jobs, sold our home and made the move to the Scottish Highlands with our family to start a new adventure!
Our mission over the last 10 years since buying Kinlochewe Service Station has been to build a thriving business serving the needs of locals and visitors alike in the heart of our community. Our family run petrol station, grocery shop and café has achieved that goal and grown into a very successful enterprise. We are in perfect shape for the next owners to pick up where we leave off from day one, to continue this Highland adventure. As well as pouring love and investment into the business our 3-bed detached bungalow has also been completely refurbished and is now a great family home.
As owners of this service station, you will be an integral part of the community serving the residents of the area and you’ll serve a global community of visitors throughout the busy tourist season. Your customers will be exploring the area in many ways, some will be hill walkers and climbers, cyclists or motor bikers and of course those enjoying a road trip on the North Coast 500 …if you are a petrol head you will love the incredible vehicles that visit us! Next door is a busy campsite run by the Caravan & Motorhome Club and so you will also serve as the campsite shop.
Over the years we have enjoyed the ability to provide job opportunities to local people and various members of our own family, who have enjoyed working with us at various stages of their lives (It takes a team to fulfil a dream!)
One of the key developments we invested in was ‘Pay @ the Pump’ which allows us to serve customers fuel requirements 24 hours a day, which is great when you need a day off (we are closed on Sundays) as customers are still able to get fuel at their convenience.
Our food and drink offerings are simple but offer real quality and value as is testified in our excellent reviews on Google & Tripadvisor. Coffee is our speciality so any budding barista’s will be in their element (full training can also be provided if needed).
